The Divine Feminine is Malcolm’s fourth LP released in 2016. We must have gone over thirty options for the cover until we returned to the first option which was this photo illustration. The sky was a primary element for him, and we kept that throughout the release. The cover’s composition of an object floating in space was meant to be visually consistent with GO:OD AM, his previous LP.
